I have managed to keep artwork from when I was at least 12 years old. The reason for this is that even though a drawing may be poorly executed, the idea can still be used in the future. I dug up an old drawing from around 2001 and made another attempt at the idea yesterday and I was pleased with the results. I think it is so encouraging to see how much I have improved over the years. This was a very cool exercise! I am sure I'll do it again. I'm going to polish my new sketch up and make it a really nice piece.
